Post your fixture on FindaRef with the date, time, location, and minimum FA grade. Verified referees nearby see it on their feed and can claim it. You fund the match fee in the app to confirm your ref.

FindaRef covers all FA grades from Level 7 (entry-level) up to National List referees. When you post a fixture, you specify the minimum grade required and only referees who meet or exceed that standard can claim it.

We hold verification details for referees, including FA registration and DBS status. Youth fixtures are gated so only referees with a valid Enhanced DBS, plus the FA Youth Module for the youngest age groups, can claim them. FindaRef is a matching platform, not a safeguarding authority, so organisers stay responsible for their own checks. Our safeguarding page sets out the full requirements.

Browse open fixtures on the Find games feed in the app or web dashboard and claim the ones that fit your grade, location, and availability. Turn on email alerts for an extra nudge when a good match appears. Your schedule and earnings live in your dashboard.

The fixture goes back on the feed for other refs to claim. If kick-off is within 48 hours, we prioritise urgent re-matching. The organiser is kept updated throughout.

Referees join for free and are paid their full match fee, with no cut taken. Organisers can post on the Free plan with no monthly cost and pay a 10% matchmaking fee only when a referee accepts, or subscribe for commission-free fixtures: Basic £19.99/month, Club £69.99/month, or League £399/month.

No. Your subscription covers the matching service and, on paid plans, waives the per-fixture matchmaking fee. You pay the referee's match fee separately in the app when you fund a claimed fixture.

You can start on the Free plan and pay a 10% matchmaking fee per fixture, with no monthly cost. The paid plans make your fixtures commission-free and add volume: Basic covers up to 5 fixtures a month, Club up to 20, and League has no fixture limit.

You can post on the Free plan with no card and no monthly cost, paying only the 10% matchmaking fee when a referee accepts. The paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, and they're rolling monthly with no contract. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings.

FindaRef is built for UK grassroots football and uses postcodes and distance-based matching to find referees near your fixture. Coverage depends on referee signups in your area. The more referees who join, the better the match quality.
