FindaRef was built by grassroots players who got tired of Saturday morning panics when the referee didn't show. We knew the problem wasn't that qualified refs didn't exist. It was that no one could find them.

How it works

Organisers post a fixture. Our algorithm finds a verified, FA-grade referee in the right area, at the right grade, who's actually available. Both parties are connected via WhatsApp. No app to download, no portal to log into. For referees, it means fixtures come to them. Set your availability once. We match you to games that fit your schedule, grade, and location.

Because that's where grassroots football already lives. Referees have WhatsApp. Club secretaries have WhatsApp. We meet people where they are. No new app, no new login to remember.

FA-grade verified

Every referee on FindaRef is FA-registered. We verify grade, DBS status, and active registration before a referee goes live on the platform. Organisers know exactly who they're getting.
